Ecommerce marketing for Shopify stores, done for you

If you cannot name your gap yet, that is normal, and it is what the Traffic to Sales Check is for.

The short answer

Herbert Timpson's Shopify marketing services are done for you, inside your store's own accounts: a Shopify store audit, Shopify SEO, AI search, Google Merchant Center free listings and Klaviyo email. Each one is a stage of The Traffic to Sales Method, and the work starts wherever the store is losing the most sales.

What does an ecommerce marketing agency do for a Shopify store?

It turns the visitors you already get into orders, through channels with no ad bill: Google search, email and free product listings. Picture the month about three months in on one store: Google brought in $5,418 in sales and email $4,308, where the 30 days before the work had $354 from Google and $987 from email, by Shopify's own reports. Here, one person does that work across all of them. I get your store found with Shopify SEO and AI search, get names and orders with Klaviyo email and Google Merchant Center, and check it all against what sold with a store audit.

No ads are part of this work. The proof is in the case study: $9,110 to $23,532 in sales in about 90 days, with the sources for each number. Not sure where to start? Start with a Shopify store audit.

Shopify agency or one Shopify expert?

A Shopify agency often means a build or design team. I do that work too: Shopify theme builds and new store setups, quoted before they start. Starting a store, or stuck on a theme that fights you? The person who builds it is the same person you will talk to later about SEO and email, so nothing gets lost in a handoff. Most of my work still starts after a store is built and selling. First, I read your Shopify, Klaviyo, Search Console, GA4 and Merchant Center side by side and find where the sales go missing. Then I fix it myself, inside your accounts, biggest dollars first. Shopify only: I do not work on WooCommerce or BigCommerce stores. AI search is part of the Shopify SEO work, not a separate package.

What does each service do?

  • Shopify store audit. A Shopify store audit reads Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Search Console, GA4 and Google Merchant Center side by side. It finds where they disagree about what sold and lists the fixes, biggest dollar amounts first.
  • Shopify SEO, done for you. Shopify SEO is the work on collection pages, product pages, indexing and duplicate URLs, so the pages the store already has can rank on Google.
  • AI search for Shopify stores. AI search optimization makes a store reachable, readable and specific enough that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini can find it and name it when buyers ask.
  • Google Merchant Center and product feeds. Google Merchant Center work gets the store's best products published and approved in Google's free listings, backed by a clean product feed.
  • Klaviyo email, done for you. Klaviyo email work makes flows and campaigns reach the people they should, and counts what they sell by Shopify's own reports, not by open rate.

What are the signs a store needs this kind of help?

  • The ads carry most of the month, and sales drop whenever the budget does. Shopify store audit
  • Shopify, Google and Klaviyo tell different stories about what sold. Shopify store audit
  • The best products barely show on Google, or not at all in the free listings. Google Merchant Center
  • Collection pages get almost no search traffic, even for the words buyers use. Shopify SEO
  • An email flow says live and sends to a handful of people. Klaviyo email
  • AI engines name a competitor when buyers ask what to buy. AI search

What should you ask before hiring any Shopify marketing service?

  • Whose accounts is the work done in? Yours, with you keeping ownership of every login, is the safe answer.
  • How are results counted? Look for sales from Shopify's own reports, not clicks, opens or a platform's own attribution.
  • Can they show a before and after with dates and a source? A number without its dates and source cannot be checked.
  • Will they tell you when the store is not the problem? Sometimes the product, the price or the shipping cost is.
  • Do they promise a ranking or a sales number? Google itself says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. Treat any promise as a warning sign.

Where should you start?

With the Shopify store audit, unless you already know where the gap is. It reads every tool together, so the work goes where the dollars are biggest instead of wherever the loudest dashboard points. You can also run the ten free checks yourself first with the Traffic to Sales Check. If your store is not the bottleneck, you will hear that on the first call.

What can you do with Shopify's own tools before hiring anyone?

A lot of the groundwork is free, and worth doing whether or not you hire help:

  • Verify the store in Google Search Console, Google's free report on how your pages do in search, and submit yourstore.com/sitemap.xml, which Shopify creates for you.
  • Install Shopify's Google & YouTube channel and check which products are published to it. Google Merchant Center, which powers the free listings, costs nothing.
  • Read Total sales by referrer in Analytics, then Reports, to see which channel really sold.
  • Look at Searches by search query to see the words shoppers type into your own store.
  • Send email with the tool you already have. Shopify Messaging includes up to 10,000 emails a month, and Klaviyo has a free plan for up to 250 active profiles.
  • Run the free Traffic to Sales Check to see where your own store is losing sales.

What access does the work need?

Only access to the tools the work touches, added by you:

  • Shopify: a user, added under Settings, then Users.
  • Klaviyo: a user, added under Settings, then Users.
  • Google Search Console: a user, added under Settings, then Users and permissions.
  • Google Merchant Center: a person, added under Access and services.
  • Google Analytics 4: a user, added under Admin, then Access management.

You keep ownership of every account and login, and you can remove the access at any time.

What happens after you choose a service?

  1. A thirty minute call about the store and how much of the month the ads are carrying.
  2. You add access to the tools the work touches, and keep ownership of all of them.
  3. The Traffic to Sales Check reads Shopify, Klaviyo, Search Console, GA4 and Merchant Center together.
  4. Fixes run in order, biggest dollars first, inside your accounts.
  5. Results come back as a before and an after from your own Shopify reports, with the source and the dates.

What did the work produce?

How long does the work take?

Changes to a store can ship in weeks. What search engines do with them runs on their own clock: Google says some changes show up in a few hours and others take several months, and it suggests waiting a few weeks before judging.

On the store in the case study, the work began on June 4, 2026. The email flows went live on July 28, the best products were published to Google on August 24, and the results showed about three months in. Every store's timeline is its own, which is why the work starts with that store's own numbers.

How are results reported?

As a before and an after, counted from your store's own Shopify reports: the stretch before the work, the best stretch after, the source and dates of every number, and what the numbers do not prove. On the store in the case study, sales went from $9,110 before the work to $23,532 about 90 days in. That is one store, not a promise.

Does this work on a store like mine?

You want proof before you hand anyone your logins. These are real Shopify stores I work on. I never name a client, so you will not see a name, a product or a place here. Each number comes from the store's own Shopify or Google Search Console reports, and each one says what it does not prove.

A direct to consumer meat brand on Shopify

Sales went from $9,110 in the 30 days before the work to $23,532 in the 30 days about three months in, by Shopify's own reports. Picture the daily register: about $304 a day before, about $784 a day after, and 78 orders where there had been 44.

What it does not prove: it compares two 30 day windows, one large deposit order is in the after number, and ads ran in both periods. The full case study shows every receipt.

A farm store on Shopify that sells mostly over the counter

In the 14 days after its first site changes went live, Google sent it 452 clicks, against 214 in the 14 days before. That is about 32 people a day arriving from a search, where there had been about 15. Its average Google position moved from 14.4 to 8.2, and the searches it shows on page one for went from 228 to 415. Source: Google Search Console, two equal 14 day periods.

What it does not prove: most of the new clicks came from people searching for the store by name during a busy in-store week, and most of its sales still happen at the counter, not online.

A family beef farm on Shopify, new to search

In August, Google showed the farm in search results 934 times. In September, after its new location pages and buyer-question posts went live, it showed 6,155 times. That is about 205 times a day the farm showed up while buyers searched questions like what beef costs and where to buy it. The searches it shows on page one for went from 27 to 285, and its average position moved from 13.1 to 8.8. Source: Google Search Console, August and September 2026.

What it does not prove: more people see the farm, but orders have not followed yet. The next work is the product pages and the shipping cost buyers meet at checkout.

Straight answers

Questions about the services.

Are you an ecommerce marketing agency?

Yes, for Shopify stores, run by one expert instead of a team. The work covers SEO, Klaviyo email, Google free listings and AI search, and no paid ads.

Do you work with stores outside your area?

Yes. I work remotely with Shopify stores anywhere in the United States.

Do you build Shopify themes or set up new stores?

Yes. I build Shopify themes and set up new Shopify stores, as well as the marketing work on stores that already sell. Ask about your project on a call.

Do you work on stores that are not on Shopify?

No. I work on Shopify stores only, so every fix is written for how Shopify builds pages.

Which Shopify marketing service should I start with?

The Shopify store audit, unless you already know where the gap is. It reads Shopify, Klaviyo, Search Console, GA4 and Merchant Center together and shows where sales go missing, so the work starts where the dollars are biggest.

How do I get more sales on my Shopify store without paying for ads?

Turn on the channels that sell without an ad bill: Shopify SEO, Google's free listings, Klaviyo email and AI search. On one store, Google and email went from 15% of sales before the work to 41% about 90 days in, by Shopify's own reports.

Do I keep control of my accounts?

Yes. You add access for the work, you keep ownership of every account and login, and you can remove the access whenever you want.

Do I have to learn SEO or Klaviyo?

No. The work is done for you, inside your own accounts. You get the fixes and the before and after numbers, not a course.

Not sure which gap is yours?

That is the normal answer. Thirty minutes.
