How much does it cost to hire a Shopify expert?
Here, a flat $3,000 for a store audit and fix, $2,500 for a Klaviyo audit and fix, $1,500 a month for full Klaviyo email, and from $1,500 a month for Shopify SEO. For hourly help, the Shopify task services that publish a rate charge about $100 to $110 an hour.
Why these prices?
Each one is set against two things: what the same work did on one store, counted from that store's own Shopify reports, and what other providers publish for the same work. Both are on this page with their sources.
How much does Shopify SEO cost?
From $1,500 a month here, quoted by the size of the catalog. In a survey of 439 SEO providers by Ahrefs, the average agency retainer was $3,209 a month and the average freelancer retainer $1,349.
What do I pay for besides your fee?
Only your own tools. Shopify, Klaviyo and your apps bill you directly, the same as today. Google Search Console and Google's free product listings cost nothing.
Do I have to buy everything?
No. Each piece stands on its own. If you are not sure where to start, start with the audit and fix. It shows which of the others would pay.
What does the $3,000 fix cover?
Everything the audit finds that can be done inside your existing theme, apps, Klaviyo and Google accounts. Work that needs a new theme, custom code or new product content is quoted before it starts.
What does full Klaviyo email include each month?
One campaign email a week, written, built and sent; every flow checked and improved; forms and lists kept clean; and what email sold, counted from your Shopify reports.
How do I pay?
One-time work is paid in full to start, and work begins the day your payment lands. Monthly work is billed at the start of each month.
Is there a minimum term?
Monthly work runs three months to start, then month to month. One-time work is one payment and one job.
Are Shopify experts worth it?
Only if the store has sales to recover. On one store, total sales went from $9,110 in the 30 days before the work began to $23,532 in the 30 days about three months in. That is why the first step is a free check of your own numbers.
Can you guarantee more sales?
No. What I can do is show you where the store is losing them, fix it in order, and count every change from your own Shopify reports, with the source and the dates.
